Here is a Winchester Model 1885 low-wall in the old cowboy caliber, .44-40. Very nice bore and wood. The bore is sharp without pitting. Barrel is 30" and is a #1 weight. The rear sight is a Marbles; the front sight looks to be Winchester. All lettering is sharp and clear. Serial # is 39xxx making this an 1889 build so can ship directly to your door unless local law doesn't permit it. If there's a drawback to this rifle it's that I'm not sure the case-hardening is original. Regardless it's not the painted on colors but real case-hardening and enhances the rifles appearance. I have shot this rifle and it works fine and is accurate. $50 shipping and insurance via priority mail to your door, no ffl or C&R required.
