Description:
Stunning example of a custom gunmaker's work of art from southern Wisconsin. Started with a 24" Shilen match barrel, added a barrel band swivel and barrel banded ramp front with a hood, both in the G&H style. Warne scope bases with quick detach rings, Leupold compact 3x9 with a dot, and a base mounted peep sight. Custom steel floorplate / triggerguard. Checkering is 28 lpi in the pre war G&H wrap around style on exhibition English walnut, steel grip cap, ebony forearm tip, inletted swivel base, and a checkered trap buttplate to accomodate the extra magazine. Screws are all lightly engraved. Overall condition is a 99% +. Dennis Potter is retired from Boxhorn's- Muskego, Wi and is not accepting any more work.- so this is it.
