Description:
Colt Single Action Army 1st generation .45LC 71/2" barrel, #348xxx. Overall this fine revolver is in 96% condition. It was shipped from the factory 2/4/27 to an "on loan" account. It was returned to the factory 3 months later on 5/9/27 and there is a mark on the right rear of the trigger bow that may be a ampersand denoting its return for work. No mention of why it was returned and all markings are sharp and clear. If it was refinished it sports the same Colt 1927 finishes it originally left the factory with. Great blue and case remaining with almost no high edge wear. There are several scuffs on the front grip strap and some slight thinning on the rear strap. Grips are scratch numbered to the gun.
This is a lovely 1st generation SAA but possibly factory refinished and priced accordingly. An extremely presentable example at a bargain.
