OLD GUY SELLING OUT HIS COLLECTION SO LOOKING FOR REASONABLE OFFERS!
MARLIN MODEL 1893 SPECIAL ORDER DELUXE RIFLE sn358xxx in .38-55 features a half-round octagon "FOR BLACK POWDER" barrel with a bright excellent bore. This is a very handsome Marlin indeed! Barrel and magazine retain 95% original factory blue with just a couple of small patches of surface oxidation. The action retains fully 85% vibrant factory original case-hardened finish with most loss being at the carry point. The special order checkered pistol grip buttstock displays lovely grain and rates excellent with 95% original factory finish remaining.The forend is also of matching fancy walnut and is checkered correctly retaining the same amount of finish as the buttstock. The rifle is sighted with a German silver Rocky Mountain front, a spirit level occupies the rear barrel dovetail and a Lyman 21 receiver sight with the proper "J" code is mounted to the receiver.
