Description:
I Have for sale a nice high grade and rare M. Ogris Ferlach side by side 12 gauge hammer gun.  According to my research this gun was built in 1910 and as you can see if very high grade and a rather rare model.  If you have ever wanted to hunt with a hammer gun this might just be the one for you in that it weighs only 6 pounds exactly and it has 27 3/8 inch barrels.  Bores measure .715 on the right barrel with .029 of constiction, and .714 on the left with .028 of constriction.  Minimum wall thickness is .029 on the right and .030 on the left.  Stock dimensions are a very shootable 1 1/2 X 2 5/8 X 14 inches over the original bone butt plate.  All finishes on the gun are original and there is some old pitting on the outside of the barrels from improper storage years ago and also in the chamber area.  Barrels are on face and tight with ribs well attached and ring nicely.  Engraving is lovely and the fully checkered forend is beautiful.  All in all a very nice example of workmanship from a bygone era.  Price of this lovely piece is $2900 plus $75 shipping to your FFL.  As always there is a three day non firing inspection period with buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
