#29638S4 . Browning superposed Pigeon grade 12 Ga 2 barrel set.
Made in 1964 , a Pigeon grade gun with two sets of 26 ½” barrels choked and marked; Skeet & Skeet .006”, .006” and Mod & Full .018” , .036”. Bores , all measuring .722” are mirror finish, so are the chambers. Soldering is good , and the blacking 95% original condition, due to a couple scratches in the lower tube of the Skeet barrel.
The action is very tight, with the top lever well to the right of center on both barrels as I believe the gun has been carried more than it has been shot…. The coin finish is in 95% original condition with light marks in the Browning protective varnish. The trigger has all of its gold plating but for the part traveling in the trigger plate.
Stock is 14 3/8” long over the factory butt plate , the original finish has some marks, It also has some crazing at the head of the stock in front of the checkering. Overall the stock is in 90 % original condition , the checkering in 98%.
The gun weight is 7 pound 4 Oz . It comes in the factory case.
