Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine .44-40 wcf. The serial number of this example is 7583XX placing date of manufacture in 1914. Overall condition is fine to excellent. The Receiver, Barrel and magazine have retained 75-80% of the original factory blue toning to a very nice 50% blue / grey. The bore is bright and shiny from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate a 9.5 on a 1 to 10 scale, near perfect, well cared for! The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect.
