English Coach Gun with Spring Bayonet. This is an English Coach Gun with barrel marked London. This is a Miguelet lock by Gennaro Scarafone of Naples, circa 1740. Very unusual combination of lock and coach gun by two different makers. The lock is beautifully engraved as is the frizzen and cock. The bayonet is 14½” long. Length overall from barrel to butt plate is 30½”. The stock is very good plus and the brass is engraved. This is an exceptionally fine Coach gun and would be an asset to any collection.
