Remington -Keene Magazine .45-70 caliber Rifle. Unusual barrel length of 28”, and unusual length of magazine tube. No caliber markings. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Stock is very good. No chips or cracks. Referred to as a hunters or sporting rifle. Measurement out of the ordinary may be the factory experimenting with different features.This rifle does not show a serial number. The Remington name address and patent dates are not on the frame, but they are on the Top rear of the bolt! Very unusual Keene.
