Description:
Caliber 30-30 WCF. This gun was originally a 24 inch half octagon rapid taper pencil barrel. Someone has cut it down to about 22 inches and cut the mag tube down to about half length. Features a fine bore, Beaches combination front sight, dovetail in the rear barrel sight slot and Lyman 56 series receiver sight. Wood is in VG condition. No splits and is probably a 1X grade. Shotgun style butt. Nice action. Barrel retains about 90% thinning blue. Receiver probably has 25% thinning blue. Nice little gun with antique serial number and a factory letter.
