Winchester Model 1894 Deluxe/ Semi Deluxe Sporting Rifle .25-35 with adjustable "Double Set Trigger", Checkered Pistol Grip Stock. The serial number of this example is 2728XX placing date of manufacture in 1901-02. Will Letter with the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming. Overall condition is very good with 50-60% original factory finish. The bore is very good with leading. The bore should clean up to an 8 on a 1 to 10 scale with a good scrubbing. The action is mechanically perfect. The Double Set Trigger is mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect. Very rare 1894 with "Nickel Steel" Barrel.
