Houston, Texas on July 30, 1956; gun was factory refinished in Nickel Plate when returned to S&W in April 1973; all matching numbers; PERFECT action and bore; probable law enforcement history with grip cap with badge ‘James Rainey Deputy Constable Harris Co Pct. 1’; also letter addressed to Robert Roberts in Emory, Texas; info I received with revolver was that Mr. Roberts was a retired Houston, Texas policeman who was a firearms instructor; I HAVE NOT verified this information; 63 year old 44 S&W with probable Texas Law Enforcement History; FFL/C&R required for shipping; Price: $2,975 Shipped; Price includes insured shipping; Attention Texas Buyers: We Must Collect 6.75% Sales Tax;return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
