Description:
According to Cody this gun was originally a 40-82 WCF . It was rebarreled using a factory Winchester BBL and rechambered in 45-70. The gunsmith's name is stamped in the BBL. The BBL has the same pitina has the receiver and matches the rest of the gun. It has a very nice bore. I've personally shot this several times and shoots well and locks up tight. Wood is nice straight grain walnut and is tight to the metal. This is a great gun for the guy that appreciates hunting with vintage firearms. MFG 1891 - Antique - no FFL required.
