Winchester Model 61 pump action rifle chambered for .22 Magnum. The .22 magnums did not come out until 1958 with production ceasing in 1963, whereas the standard model 61 started in production in 1932. Consequently the Magnum was made in very small quantities compared to standard .22 chamberings. The magnums were also late enough in the 61 production that they featured the very popular “grooved” receivers. This particular rifle was made in 1959 and is in 97-98% original condition except for the fact that the left side of the receiver was drilled and tapped for a receiver sight. Regardless, this is a very desirable rifle.
