Description:
Dakota model 76 Alpine bolt action rifle chambered for .257 Roberts. The classic model 76 action with controlled round (Mauser style long extractor) feed and 3-position bolt safety. The Alpine is a fast handling configuration ideal for deer, antelope and plains game. 22” barrel, matte metal and wood finishes, inletted rear swivel and barrel band front swivel are standard features on the Alpine. This rifle has a 13 ¾” LOP over a factory installed 1” Pachmayr Decelerator Presentation recoil pad. It is fitted with Talley bases and Talley 1” rings. 98% overall condition with a 1” long stock “rub” on the right side of the stock near the toe. Overall weight is 7 lbs. 6 oz. and the trigger breaks crisply at 3 lbs.
