Description:
The Colt Police Positive Special (First Issue) was made from 1907 to 1927.  The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, hard rubber grips, fixed sights, built on a square butt frame, and chambered in .32-20, .32 New Police, .38 New Police or .38 Special.  This 1910 vintage handgun is as described and is fitted with a 4 inch barrel, accessory pearl grips with recessed Colt medallions, and chambered in .38 Special.  It is in excellent original condition, retaining 85% of its original blue finish, with most loss due to holster wear.  The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up.  The attractive pearl grips, along with the recessed Colt medallions, fit well, have nice color, and have no chips, but there is a crack on the right grip panel at the screw escutcheon.  Nice gun.                                   PRICE:    $1,150             We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual FirearmFirearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.
