Description:
This is a Winchester Model 12 in the 3" mag. Heavy Duck variation. This particular gun was built in or around the year 1960 according to the production records, which makes it near the end of production for the iconic model 12 shotgun. This gun is in great shape for nearly 60 years of service, retaining 85-90% original blue finish to the metal, with carry loss around the lower receiver and a little at the muzzle.The stocks look quite original, and fit proud to the metal, showing wear to the original varnish only. Sling lugs have been added, with a period correct sling. The recoil pad is a ventilated Winchester red butt pad, that may or may not be original on the late production guns. The bore of the 30" full choke barrel looks great, the gun functions properly, and appears to have been well cared for of over the years.
