This is a very attractive restored World War 1 DWM Luger dated 1915 that would be an excellent representative piece for a collection as well as an excellent shooter. When it was restored the barrel was replaced with a newer German-made barrel, and some of the small parts that were worn were replaced with non-matching but original period parts. The blue finish on this Luger is beautiful and has been restored to 98 to 99%, including the strawed finish on some of the small parts (yellow finish). The bore is minty and bright, with no pitting, erosion, or imperfections of any kind. The rifling still looks brand-new, with sharp lands and grooves. The checkered Walnut grips are excellent, free from any cracks, chips, or repairs. All of the controls on this DWM Luger are in perfect working order, with a nice tight slide to frame fit. The toggles lock into battery perfectly when worked by hand, and we have no doubt that this DWM would function . This restored WW1 DWM Luger comes with one post-war magazine with a metal bottom that has been numbered to match the gun, and a reproduction WW2 pattern brown leather holster. If you have always wanted an attractive example of the famous Luger for your collection that you could enjoy at the range or farm without hurting it's value, this DWM rig would be the perfect choice.
