Description:
I have for sale a beautiful Merkel 200SC in 12 gauge. Merkel came out with this model in 1996 to compete in the sporting clays market and this gun is set up beautifully for that game. It comes with 30 inch barrels and factory Briley choke tubes (6 included, Sk, IC, LM, Mod, IM, Full). Vent rib is slightly tapered from 11.75MM to 10MM. Action is real charcoal and bone case coloring and show almost no wear. Stock is lovely Turkish Walnut with great grain pattern and dimensions of 1 1/2 X 2 1/4 X 14 3/4 over a nice pad. Cast is neutral so will work well with either right or left hand shooter. Length of pull is adjustable by moving the trigger up to 5/16 of an inch. Trigger is selective as well. Comes with ejectors but you can easily disable them if you prefer extractors. Finish is hand rubbed oil and checkering is 30 lines per inch. Weight of the gun is 7 pounds 10 ounces. Barrels are assembled on the demi-block system and lockup is accomplished using the Kersten top lock system. condition of this gun is at least 98% and shows little to no wear with super tight lockup. Original MSRP for this gun in 1996 was $7650 with the Briley choke tube option. Price today is $4900 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
