Made by FEG in Budapest, Hungary between 1990 and 2005, the GKK-45 is the export version of the Hungarian Military ACK-45 pistol which is also chambered in .45 ACP. It is a large combat-style SA/DA automatic pistol with an exposed hammer, a slide-mounted safety, and an 8-round detachable magazine. The GKK-45 is finished with a high-gloss blue factory finish and checkered hardwood grips. The GKK-45 quickly earned a reputation for being a very well-made pistol that is both reliable and accurate for a very reasonable cost. This particular example is one of the early guns, likely made prior to 1995, and is in excellent all-original condition. The gloss blue finish rates 97% plus, it has a perfect bright bore, and the grips are like-new. All of the controls are in perfect working order and the internals of this pistol are just as pristine as the exterior. It has obviously spent 99% of it's life in storage and has been fired very little, if at all, since being shipped to the States. This FEG .45 pistol would be a nice addition to any collection, as well as an excellent range/farm toy.
