Description:
Nice old Winchester Model "55" 30WCF Takedown. Very low Serial number "720" Gun is in good shape reciever has some blue remaining but is mostly silver. Barrel still has most of its original blue remaining. Wood is good. oil soaked dark, a small crack in the toe (see the picture) forearm is in good shape. Mechanically sound, bore is nice, action works fine. Locks up tight on assembly. Has original sights and a tang sight as well. Original butt plate. Gun is cased in a cool period wooden box. box holds the gun, a vintage cleaning kit, and several rounds of ammo. Also in the box is an Original Winchester price list brochure with the model 55 listed in it. The box along with the low serial number of the gun make a very nice and unique package. $1000.00 FFL/C&R required. Shipping will be $40.00 lower 48. Please add 3% for credit cards.
