Description:
Early 1800s Ryan & Watson, London, brass barrel flintlock with unusual brass lock plate and brass barrel. It is all original including all screws, parts, springs, and horn tipped ramrod. The wood is shows light dings and scratches, as well as a crack running through the upper left screw. The barrel is stamped with the correct period London proof marks, and LONDON. There is a silver oval thumbpiece, and an acorn finial on the trigger guard. It is 14 3/4" inches overall with a 9 inch octagon barrel that has not been altered in any way. Bore about 54 caliber. Fully functional with strong action. Please examine the photos for condition. Very rare piece, only one other turned up in a Google search.
