Made in 1970 in West Germany, this factory blue finished Walther PPK/S .380 ACP pistol is still in excellent all-original condition overall. The Walther PPK/S is one of the most iconic .380 ACP pistols ever made, and set the industry standard for what a compact .380 ACP pistol should be. The Walther PPK/S has an unmistakable profile and has proven to be extremely well-made, very reliable, and exceptionally accurate for it's size. The Walther firm stopped exporting these German-made models to the U.S.A. in 1999, making these German-made guns sought-after by collectors and shooters alike. Showing only a touch of finish wear at the muzzle and grips straps, and a few scattered tiny handling marks, the original blue finish on this PPK/S rates 95% plus. The bore condition is superb and is mirror-bright, with sharp lands and grooves still showing in the rifling and no visible imperfections. The original factory checkered black plastic grips are in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, or repairs. Both grip panels are nice and tight to the frame, and only under close inspection can one find a few tiny handling/storage marks on either side. All of the controls are in 100% perfect working order, and the internals of this Walther are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior. This 1970 vintage gun has obviously spent the majority of it's life in a sock drawer or storage of some sort. This Walther PPK/S comes with one original 7-round factory magazine. If you have been looking for an exceptionally clean and all-original PPK/S for your collection this pistol would be an excellent choice.
