On Hold / Pending Funds / Colt M.1911 US Army S/A Pistol, manufactured in 1914, serial # 84xx2, cal. 45 ACP, with a 5" horizontal "P H" stamped barrel with a good but frosted bore, areas of fine peppery pitting but nothing drastic or alarming. All markings are crisp & readable, left side of frame by mag release is stamped WGP in Circle. Original finish is about 60%+ the remaining areas turning to rich brown patina. The front sight is thin tapered rounded, rear sight is flat with U notch, hammer is proper thick stubby with sharp edge, grip safety & mainspring housing appear to be proper period. The hammer, grip safety, thumb safety, trigger, slide stop & mag. catch have correct smoky blue finish. The stocks are correct Colt diamond grips, comes with one standard Colt two tone 7 rnd. lanyard loop magazine. The overall condition as photographed and described is good plus plus to very good.
