Description:
General Specs: Browning, Year 1981, 12ga; 20ga; 28ga; 410ga, SK/SK
Serial Number: 18004PZ1B3

The Browning Citori has been THE over/under shotgun for American hunters and shooters for over 3 decades.  They are solid, functional guns at least, and are quite attractive with the Grade 1 engraved action, deep blue colors, and nicely figured walnut stocks.  If you are pursuing excellence in the game of skeet, there is nothing better than a matched 4-barrel, 4 gauge set, with all barrels matched to the gun so that weight and balance remains constant as you shoot your 4 gauge event.  As you switch from 12 gauge to 20 gauge, from 28 gauge to .410, the gun balances in hand the same.  Weight does not vary but a few ounces as you swap barrels sets.  These guns are very hard to find in such nice condition with no real wear and only a few light handling marks in the wood.    The gun was made in 1981 and has been shot very little since; all mechanicals are excellent, with little sign of wear.  All four sets of barrels have mirror bores, choked SK/SK, 99.5% barrel blue, double beads.  The action is tight on face and hinge pin.  The buttstock shows as 99.5% factory finish with only 3 tiny handling marks.  The receiver has only slight edge wear and is otherwise 99/5%.  The case shows as new with no wear.  The Browing Citori has proven over 3 decades that it is a real performer and a mechanically excellent, trouble free competition over/under.  A great investment and a game changer for consistency when shooting 4-gauge skeet events.  The last time Browning had the Citori Grade 1 four-gauge skeet set for sale they retailed at over $7000.  This gun can be had for just over ½ that price and it is like new…a very good value.  Thanks for looking.
