This super-rare Browning BPR in .22 Magnum has to be the very nicest one in existence. It is flat mint and unfired, having spent it's entire life in the original box in storage. In order to photograph it we had to clean off the original factory oil which had dried on the metal if that tells you anything. The Browning BPR was produced from 1977 to 1982 by Miroku of Japan for Browning. Despite being a well-made, attractive, and accurate rifle, this .22 rimfire pump-action model was never a great commercial success and production was limited, particularly in .22 WMR. The Browning BPR features a factory gloss glue finish, a short-stroke pump action, a 20.25" inch barrel with iron sights, an 11-shot tube magazine, and a checkered Walnut stock set. This particular example was made in 1979, and as mentioned before, was bought new and never taken out of the box. It has spent it's entire life in storage and remains in like-new and unfired condition. The gloss blue factory finish is perfect, free from any wear or imperfections whatsoever. The bore in this rifle is also mint, mirror-bright with perfect rifling. The original stock set is in minty like-new condition as well, free from any wear, cracks, handling marks, or repairs. This beautiful vintage BPR comes with the original box serial-numbered to the rifle, the owner's manual, and even the plastic sheeting it was wrapped in from the factory.
