.54 cal, NVSN, 35 inch part round barrel, plum brown finish, walnut stock, brass furniture, double set ttrigger, false muzzle, single key forearm, 23 pounds total weight, period optics, no maker's mark on rifle or optics, circa 1850's to 1860's.
Condition: deep strong rifling, smooth dark metal, silver gray optics tube, stock has sliver crack on left side from side plate about 3 inches, excellent mechanically.
