8" barrel; .44 cal; serial #66317 (1862 production - all numbers match). Military acceptance cartouche on both sides of the walnut grips. Full cylinder scene of the Naval engagement evident. A small "H" inspector's mark on cylinder and grip straps. Barrel address "ADDRESS COL SAM L COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA".
