Description:
This one gets displayed prominently in the gun room, and stick your chest out with pride. Bore appears flawless: crisp, clean, shiny from front to back, no rust and no pits. Blueing and nitre are an easy 99% condition; clean and rust-free under the wood line. Stock is crack free, matching number, crisp checkering and beautiful finish. One wood repair under the bolt handle, and butt has been squared-up for the pad. Pull 14-3/8" from front set trigger over the Pachmayr pad. "B Deluxe" with fore end checkering, horn grip cap and fore end tip, cheekpiece. 7.6s caliber (30-06) Octagon to round barrel with integral, matted rib. Correct sling swivels and sights. "Germany" on floor plate,ser# 560xx made 1912, likely from a batch of rifles imported by Tauscher around that time.
