Mossberg 44b .22LR/L/S bolt action target rifle, manufactured between 1938 and 1941. This rifle features a finely figured walnut stock, with a raised cheek piece and a plastic trigger guard with finger grooves. The rifle has a heavy target barrel, with a fine blued finish on all parts. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter, which is pushed out of the way to make room for the scope. The front sight is hooded with multiple reticles to choose from. The scope is a vintage Mossberg Rangfinder scope, and it works well, with clear, usable glass. The rifle is in really excellent condition considering its age, with a smooth action, nice bore, and excellent trigger. Includes one removeable magazine.
