Description:
Starr carbine in good untouched Cond. Gun is complete and original and functions very good. Wood is solid but well worn with a large sliver out of the bottom of the butt stock. All metal is aged with some scattered pitting but all markings are sharp. Bore needs cleaned but has strong rifling. Top of the barrel near breech is 1 over ARK over H. This gun was issued to the ist Arkansas co. H. Good old gun that has never been sanded or refinished that was issued to a historic unit. Has an old dealers tag priceing it at $3100. I bought at a good price and selling that way. According to Norm Flayderman, those marked ist Ark. are worth a 50% premium. Call for more details.
