This is a Colt 1911 WWII Commemorative of the Asiatic-Pacific Theater pistol in .45 ACP. Bright nickel finish with palm frond engraving and dark wood grips with gold Colt medallions. The pistol comes in a bamboo looking display case with a picture of the Japanese surrender on September 2th 1945, 7 silver plated dummy rounds and a plaque. This pistol has been fired. 1 of 11,500 made.
