Description:
Custom Springfield Trapdoor action stocked in the style of Carlos Gove. Stock (English Walnut) dimensions and profile taken from an original Gove rifle. LOP is 14". Fly added to lock tumbler and take down pin replaced by a double headed bushing. Chambered for 45-70 Spfg. Extensive engraving by Roger Sampson. Barrel is a #3 Winchester weight by Green Mountian with 1-18 twist. Horn forend tip. Built about 2010, this is one of Don Kline's last checkering jobs. Shipping by FEDEX ground.
