Seldom seen Remington Factory "Matched Pair" of Model 1100's chambered in .410 (2 1/2" chamber) and 28 (2 3/4 " chamber) Gauge, with forearm weights. Both of these 1969/1970 vintage guns are fitted with 25 inch vent rib barrels, choked "SKEET" and the frames are nicely machine engraved with “Remington Model - 1100”, “Matched Pair / No. 1826” and the serial number on the left side. The stocks are press checkered and varnished wood, with plastic black and white line spacer butt plates. There are pistol grip caps on both guns, matching the buttplate with black caps and white line spacers. The LOP measures 14 1/8” on both guns, from the front of the trigger to the back of the Remington butt-plates. Both guns have been fired, but very little from their appearance, which is excellent. The guns retain 99%+ of their original blue finishes. The walnut stock and forearm on the 410 model retain all of their original finishes, with only a couple of very minor handling marks. The walnut stock and forearm of the 28 gauge model retain all of their original finishes, with handling marks on both, and a 5 inch scratch on the left side of the stock. The bores of both guns look like new and the actions functions the same. Inludes the original case (liner has been replaced), sorry, no paper-work. Neat set of Remington autoloading shotguns.
