Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1903 serial no. 1444399 (1935 production) chambered in caliber .30-06. This excellent original M1903 shows excellent original finish on wood and metal parts. The bore is a little dark, but has sharp lands and grooves and is an accurate rifle. The barrel date for this rifle is “SA 9-35,” and a muzzle wear reading of 2.0. An excellent shooter and a great addition to any shooter’s collection.
