Up for sale today is a German Mauser K98k serial no. 34604b chambered in caliber 7.92x57. This rifle shows a receiver code of “byf 44,” which denotes production at Mauser Oberndorf in 1944. The rifle shows excellent overall finish, with an excellent, bright bore. The rifle is parts-matching except for the bolt, which matches itself, and is not import marked. An excellent original K98k and a great shooter as well.
