No returns on new guns Payment Types Accepted: Visa, MC, AMEX, Checks Description: Up for sale today is a German Mauser K98k serial no. 9039f chambered in caliber 7.92x57. This rifle shows a receiver code of “337 1940,” which denotes production at Gustloff Werke in 1940. This is a rare receiver code, as in 1939 BSW’s tooling was sold/transferred to Gustloff Werke and used code 330 only until 1941 when their code was changed to BCD. The rifle shows authentic weathered finish. The rifle is parts-matching except for the bolt, which matches itself, and the floorplate. The rifle is import marked, and most of the swastikas on the rifle are peened over. The rifle has a dark, rough bore, but in our testing the rifle shoots to point of aim with no keyholing. An authentic example of a captured K98k and a great piece of firearms history. All Pennsylvania residents please add 6% sales tax. If paying with a card, a 4% card service fee will be added to the total price of the sale.
