Description:
This is a fine example of a Model 1860 Spencer Carbine rifle S.N. 36640. I had a gunsmith to examine it, all matching serial numbers and all original parts. The wood is solid, rich in color and great shape. The barrel is 22" in length with 6 grooves. The gun is mechanically sound and is a great example of a civil war carbine. Marcot's book dates the delivery of this serial number 4/13/1863 - 4/22/1863.
