Browning Gran Lightning 12 gauge O/U shotgun. A very unique Gran Lightning that was factory commission engraved by Michael Collins for the very prominent annual celebrity quail hunt and shoot supporting Disability Resources Inc, Abiliene, Texas in 1997-8. Mr. Collins, a well know artist and engraver hand embellished this Gran Lightning with a single dove in flight on the right side and a single quail in flight on the left side of the receiver surrounded with gold ovals and then bordered with gold wire and expertly cut floral scenes. This gun is a 28” invector plus field model. It appears unfired mechanically but it was neglected for several years and there are some light spots of surface rust and a few “dings” in the matte finish on the wood. Overall 98% condition. Gun that weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. Stock has a 14 3/8” LOP over factory pad. Other of Mr. Collins’ Browning commissions have sold for as much as $18,000!!
