Description:
This is a colorful old 1873 Winchester 38-40 carbine that was made in 1892. It is serial number 414080 and makes good condition. The mechanical function is about very good but the bore is a little rough with corrosion but still shows rifling. The wood is good and not cracked or chipped. It is missing the sliding dust cover, which is available from Dixie Gun Works. The barrel address is fine but 38 WCF is faint on the barrel top. Model 18982 is fine on the upper tang. Still has nice traces of barrel and receiver blue.
