Remington lst introduced their wildly popular 760 series in 1952 and in 1966 came out with the DELUXE BDL distinguished by the stepped
receiver, raised cheek piece and basket weave pressed checkering. To make avail for left handed shooters they did not change the ejection port but simply put the cheek piece on the right hand side of the butt stock ....this has the LH stock however it is perfectly comfortable for a righty to shoot. from a traditioal right handed postion
Likely rare in this combination with respect to cal (90 % were produced in 30 06 the balance shared between all other chamberings), vintage and its near new condition.
This gun is a real beauty and although it has the cheesy see thru mounts the scope while not expensive is actaully an excellent scope; half tube 1 3/4 x 4.5 Duplex Bushnell and is perfectly matched to this great and uncommon gun.
