.500 No. 2 caliber, 28" barrel with solid top rib and three leaf folding express sights. Ebony cleaning rod located under the barrel. Patent No. 1871 improved Martini action with beautifully game scene engraving depicting Lions & Tigers surrounded by leaf and vine boarders. Checkered walnut forend with ebony forend cap and key attachment. Checkered pistol grip buttstock measuring 14 1/8" over a blued steel buttplate with cleaning rod trap. In superb original condition retaining nearly all of the blue, excellent wood and checkering. Mint bore and rifling. A beautiful rifle showing the very best of Westley Richards quality work and innovation.
