  • Later known as "BNZ" which denotes Steyr
  • Early war quality and workmanship
  • Bridge marked 660
  • WaA623 and 77 marked (77 was for parts made at Radom factory and sent to Steyr)
  • All matching serial numbers

  • The G.29/40 Rifle is basically a German 98k rifle that was assembled with Polish wz29 Mauser Parts that were captured at the Radom plant in Poland
  • In 1939 and 40 these parts were assembled into 98k rifles at the Steyr factory in Austria
  • These rifles mostly ended up with the Kriegsmarine and the Luftwaffe
