COMPOSED CASED PAIR OF ORIGINAL COLT MODEL 1849 PERCUSSION 4” POCKET REVOLVERS. An all matching and original 319,xxx serial range Pocket with “One Line” New York barrel address and an all matching and original 70,xxx serial range Pocket with “Two Line” New York City address. Both in very good plus condition with fine markings and number stampings as well as well defined very crisp cylinder scenes. Original grips with most of the original finish on each. Both in perfectly tight working order with very good bores. Cased in an old late 19th Century walnut flatware box correctly partitioned in the manner of a Colt double 1849 Pocket casing and lined in correctly colored and finished red velvet. With an original brass “E PLURIBUS UNUM” pocket flask of the type correct for the casing.
