FINE PAIR OF LIEGE, BELGIUM PERCUSSION DAMASCUS BOXLOCK SPRING BAYONET PISTOLS ca. 1850’s. Damascus octagon 6” multi-groove rifled .45 caliber barrels with original spring bayonets mounted beneath. All original and complete with the exception of the small retaining screw of one bayonet mount which is as old as the other but slightly different. Floral engraved boxlocks with Royal Liege proofs stamped at the left breech. Bag shaped walnut grips with German silver escutcheons. Extra nice original condition with barrels having much of the plum bleu Damascus pattern and finish remaining. Excellent grips with all the original finish. Bayonets in perfect working order with both springs functioning correctly. Locks work perfectly and both bores excellent with crisp rifling. Nipples in good condition. Scarce pair and in very nice original condition.
