An original Springfield Armory Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle in .45-70 caliber. All original not much metal finish just a deep patina, bore is dark, major sliver of wood missing on left side (see photo), original sights and ramrod, etc. Rifle is quite shootable and remains in perfect working order.
