Produced by CZ in Czechoslovakia from 1952 to 1954, the Model 52 was the main sidearm of the Czechoslovakian Army from 1952 to 1982. The CZ Model 52 is a large automatic service pistol that uses a short-recoil roller locking system chambered in the powerful 7.62x25mm Tokarev cartridge. The Model 52 features a matte "military" blue finish, brown Bakelite grips, and a 8-round detachable box magazine. The Model 52 proved to be a good service pistol that was reliable, accurate, and powerful, with the 7.62 Tokarev cartridge capable of defeating most body armor and helmets in use during it's service period. This particular example was made during the last year of production in 1954 and is in excellent, un-issued condition. The factory blue finish rates 99% with no wear or imperfections. The bore is in minty and bright, with no pitting, erosion, or imperfections visible. The brown Bakelite grips are also in excellent condition, free from any wear, cracks, chips, or repairs. All of the controls are in like-new 100% perfect working order, and the internals are just as clean and pristine as the exterior. As mentioned before, this CZ Model 52 comes with an original Czech Military leather holster, cleaning rod, and extra magazine. If you have been looking for a "collector grade" CZ Model 52 for your collection, this pistol rig would be an excellent choice. It would be nearly impossible to upgrade from this beauty.
