Description:
Serial #46637M, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1953 dated, Ishapore-made rifle that retains about 90-92% of the original blue finish that has faded and silvered along the high and projecting edges. The matching bolt has some fading on the handle, and mild freckling along the body. The walnut forend, with blocky Indian nosecap, “Ishapore Bolt", and the handguards are in very good shape with some minor handling marks and small blemishes throughout. The buttstock has been lightly sanded, but the Ishapore cartouches are crisp and clear on the right side. The rifle comes with a single magazine, and rates very good-fine condition overall.
