Description:
Assembly #8, .22 RF, 2 1/4" octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore. This is a handsome and very well made little revolver, in the style of Lefaucheux’s pinfires. The gun is not maker marked, but does have crisp 1891 German proofs, and retains 95-97% of the original nickel finish with some scattered spots of dark freckling, and some flaking along the underside of the barrel. The hammer and base of the trigger retain 90% plus of their original straw color, and the hard rubber, floral pattern relief grips are in excellent shape without any chips or cracks. The action is tight and fully functional. This is a great little open-top pocket revolver, and rates excellent condition overall. Antique
