Description:
Serial #84172, .50 Caliber, 7 1/2" cannon type barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is the bright steel model and has some traces of mild surface oxidation on the otherwise bright metal (mostly within the pan, face of the frizzen, and on the barrel breech around the touchhole). The brass furniture has an overall darkly tarnished, yellow-ochre patina, and the sideplate is engraved with a name: “Aiassa". The walnut stock is in very good condition with a few negligible handling marks and a crack right at the front just ahead of the side plate on the left side. This is a very good-excellent example of a modern, big bore “Queen Anne". Antique
